Softball Recap: Wagner Red Raiders vs. Parkston Trojans
Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. Their tough 19-4 loss to the Parkston Trojans might stick with them for a while.
Lydia Yost made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Ravyn Medricky, who went 1-for-1 with two RBI.
Wagner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Parkston, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wagner will challenge Deuel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Parkston, they will head out on the road to face off against Alcester-Hudson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
