Basketball Game Preview: Hauser Jets vs. Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars

The Hauser Jets will square off against the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Hauser is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against North Decatur two weeks ago (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Hauser lost 45-23 to North Decatur. The matchup marked the Jets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hauser's defeat came about despite a quality game from Braelyn Williams, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Norah Berkenstock, who earned eight points.

Meanwhile, Greenwood Christian Academy can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter by a score of 51-43.

This is the second loss in a row for Hauser and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-13.

Hauser didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Greenwood Christian Academy when the teams last played two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 42-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hauser since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
