Football Recap: Dalton Skates Past Highland with Ease

Dalton never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Highland Fighting Scots 28-0. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Fighting Scots are ranked 343rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dalton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points this season. As for Highland, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton will welcome Mogadore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will take on Coshocton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
