Walton extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Pensacola Catholic. They came out on top against the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders by a score of 59-48. The Braves have beaten the Crusaders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Crusaders has come to flipping the script.

Pensacola Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from Solomon Sutton and Donnelle Gulley. Sutton went 6 of 8 on his way to 17 points and five boards, while Gulley went 5 for 11 en route to 15 points and four steals. Gulley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

The victory got Walton back to even at 13-13. As for Pensacola Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Walton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 36-35 win against South Walton on the 7th. Pensacola Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
