Baseball Recap: Flowers Comes Up Short

Flowers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the DuVal Tigers, falling 17-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Jaguars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Flowers' record now sits at 0-5. As for DuVal, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Flowers is set to challenge their familiar foe Wise at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, DuVal will square off against rival Suitland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
