Basketball Game Preview: DeKalb County Tigers vs. Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers

The DeKalb County Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. DeKalb County is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

DeKalb County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a hard 70-56 fall against Stone Memorial on Friday. Even if the Tigers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Warren County strolled past Columbia Central with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 36-21.

Warren County's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for DeKalb County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

DeKalb County couldn't quite finish off Warren County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 61-58. Can DeKalb County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
