Nebraska City was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Fairbury on Friday. The Pioneers blew past the Jeffs 28-7. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Jeffs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Fairbury, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
