Basketball Recap: Georgia Military College Falls Despite Big Games from Tommy Carty and Justin Bullard

Georgia Military College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. The matchup between them and the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers didn't end well, with the Georgia Military College Bulldogs falling 48-32. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 156th).

Georgia Military College's loss came despite strong showings from Justin Bullard and Tommy Carty. Bullard posted 14 points, while Carty had ten points. Those ten points gave Carty a new career-high.

Mount de Sales Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was John Paul Clark out in front who put up 12 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abner Livingston, who earned 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Georgia Military College's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mount de Sales Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Georgia Military College wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-32 defeat against Gatewood on the 7th. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-77 win against Windsor Academy on the 6th.
