Switzerland County proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by five) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rising Sun Shiners a 1-0 shutout. Switzerland County's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Isaiah Dayadharum, who's now up to 11 this season.

Switzerland County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Rising Sun, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.
