Preview: Ramsey Rams vs. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats
The Ramsey Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Monday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Ramsey had to settle for a 65-62 loss against Sandoval. Ramsey has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City has not done well against Neoga recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City came out on top against Neoga by a score of 60-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was AJ Radloff, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Lorton, who scored 20 points.
Ramsey's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Ramsey came up short against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City when the teams last played on Saturday, falling 61-50. Can Ramsey avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
