Seven Lakes took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Jordan 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted against the Warriors since August 12, 2021.

Seven Lakes had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-27, 25-15, 25-23, 15-13.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Paetow duked it out with Cinco Ranch on Thursday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Cougars.
