Football Game Preview: Weiss Wolves vs. Cedar Creek Eagles + How To Watch

The Weiss Wolves will face off against the Cedar Creek Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Weiss' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.

Weiss gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They were the clear victors by a 41-21 margin over Hendrickson. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Hawks are ranked 391st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Jaxon Schad and Pete Vallejo Jr.. Schad had a great game and threw for 237 yards and four TDs. Meanwhile, Vallejo Jr. was balling out in the loss, rushing for 40 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 251 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cedar Creek's offense. They took a blow against Lockhart on Friday, falling 38-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Weiss, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
