Volleyball Game Preview: Lindblom Eagles vs. Kenwood Broncos

The Lindblom Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Kenwood Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Lindblom has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lindblom took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Solorio 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 4, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lindblom who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 15-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Kenwood had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wolves.

Kenwood easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12.

Lindblom's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kenwood, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lindblom came up short against Kenwood in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
