Soccer Game Preview: Fort Myers vs. Palmetto Ridge

The Fort Myers Green Wave will challenge the Palmetto Ridge Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Myers' last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Fort Myers and Lely finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Palmetto Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Bonita Springs. The result kept the Bears happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 3rd.

Palmetto Ridge's draw gives them a new season record of 7-9-5. As for Fort Myers, they moved theirs to 6-9-4.

Fort Myers beat Palmetto Ridge by a goal when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 2-1. Does Fort Myers have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palmetto Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
