Football Recap: Towner-Granville-Upham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Towner-Granville-Upham had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it five. They took a blow against the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks, falling 50-14. The Titans lost against the Mavericks in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-6 score last time.

Towner-Granville-Upham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fynn Livedalen, who rushed for 30 yards and one TD, and also threw for 118 yards and one touchdown.

As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drayson Johnson, who threw for 188 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 53 yards. 125 of Johnson's passing yards were hauled in by Reyden Beck, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Towner-Granville-Upham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, they will square off against Kidder County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
