Salpointe Catholic had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Lancers have won 14 matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mica Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emiliano Castro (2), Leo Gutierrez, and Jose Gutierrez-Pena.

Salpointe Catholic's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those ten games. As for Mica Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6-1 record this season.
