 Emery's game  last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They came out on top against the South Sevier Rams by a score of  7-4. For Emery, this counts as revenge for the   6-0 loss South Sevier walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in March of 2022.
  Wade Stilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over 6.1 innings pitched. Stilson was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mason Stilson, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Trygg Jensen was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Like Emery, South Sevier also got a great game from a two-way player:  Ryker Freeman. On the mound, he  struck out ten batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Freeman has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Freeman was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Freeman wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Bigs Northrup, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Even though they lost, South Sevier  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Emery's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for South Sevier, their defeat  ended  a  20-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 7-2.
 Emery will take on Delta at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for South Sevier, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Parowan at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. South Sevier's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Parowan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
