Basketball Game Preview: Ponderosa Mustangs vs. Frederick Golden Eagles + Official Tickets

The Ponderosa Mustangs will head out to square off against the Frederick Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Ponderosa can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They took a 53-38 bruising from Centaurus. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Frederick took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 90-51 win over Loveland.

Ponderosa came up short against Frederick in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 70-58. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
