Softball Recap: Mt. Eden Monarchs vs. Castro Valley Trojans

Mt. Eden had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 6-6 to make it four. They came up short against the Castro Valley Trojans, falling 24-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Monarchs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Castro Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
