There's no place like home for Early, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the Pleasant Hope Pirates 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 back in April.
Luke Francka was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Landon Tomlinson was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
Early now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Pleasant Hope, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.
As of now, neither Early nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
