Baseball Recap: Raton Comes Up Short

Raton lost against West Las Vegas last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Raton came up short against West Las Vegas, falling 18-2. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Raton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camron Edmenson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Raton dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Las Vegas, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Raton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against Tucumcari on the 28th. As for West Las Vegas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Hatch Valley on the 28th.
