Volleyball Recap: Onalaska's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Onalaska waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Madison East Purgolders. That's more bragging rights for the Hilltoppers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Onalaska won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Onalaska to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckenzie Bauer, who had 15 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Bauer has posted since back in October of 2024.

Onalaska's record is now 20-9. As for Madison East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.

As of now, neither Onalaska nor Madison East have any future games scheduled.
