Football Game Recap: Rayne vs. Northside

Northside found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 26-48 punch to the gut against Rayne on Friday.

Northside are on a five-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6. The victory bumped Rayne's record up to 2-5.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Northside will look to defend their home turf next week against St. Thomas More at 7:00 PM. St. Thomas More have averaged 56 points over the course of their past seven games, so Northside might be in for a challenge. As for Rayne, they will face off against Carencro. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Rayne and Carencro will really light up the scoreboard.
