Baseball Recap: Vance Charter Takes a Loss

Vance Charter came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to the Williams Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Vance Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julius Burke, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Vance Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Williams, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Vance Charter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-0 victory against Excelsior Classical Academy on the 10th. As for Williams, they have also already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Clover Garden School on the 7th.
