Basketball Recap: Elijah Duncan Key Part of a Team Effort in Bruins Win

Bear Creek won the last time they faced McNair and things went their way on Monday too. The Bear Creek Bruins strolled past the McNair Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 68-49. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 427th, while the Eagles are ranked 949th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bear Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Duncan, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nemo Lucas, who had 12 points.

Bear Creek has already played their next matchup, a 58-53 defeat against Antioch on the 14th. As for McNair, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-56 win against Stagg on the 15th.
