Volleyball Game Preview: Central Regional Golden Eagles vs. Liberty Lions

The Central Regional Golden Eagles will head out to challenge the Liberty Lions at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Central Regional is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Central Regional came up short against Lacey Township and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Barnegat.

Central Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Central Regional couldn't quite get it done against Liberty when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
