Softball Recap: Spencer Rockets vs. Gilman Pirates

Spencer can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against the Gilman Pirates as they made off with a 13-2 victory. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Pirates last Tuesday, they had to take a 8-4 loss.

Berklie Ireland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
