The Salt Lake Academy Griffins lost to Non Varsity Opponent last Tuesday, but the Salt Lake Academy Griffins didn't allow Non Varsity Opponent the same satisfaction on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Salt Lake Academy made off with a 33-32 win over Non Varsity Opponent. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Salt Lake Academy.
Maci Nell was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Addison Patrick was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Salt Lake Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 87-138.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salt Lake Academy will take on Uintah River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will play host again and welcome Carolina M, where tip off is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
