Basketball Recap: Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Hickory Christian Academy

A well-balanced attack led Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy over Hickory Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots blew the Hickory Christian Academy Knights out of the water with a 56-13 final score. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Leia Garrett was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Garrett is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Talbott, who posted eight points and six steals.

Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hickory Christian Academy only posted four assists.
