It was a good run, but Holtville unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the West Shores Wildcats. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Holtville's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 8-10. As for West Shores, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.

Looking ahead, Holtville will face off against Brawley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Shores, they will head out to face off against Calexico Mission at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the RoadRunners at the right time seeing as the RoadRunners are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
