Preview: Springlake-Earth Wolverines vs. Hart Longhorns
Springlake-Earth is 10-0 against the Longhorns since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Springlake-Earth Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hart Longhorns at 8:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Springlake-Earth was able to grind out a solid win over the Cowboys, taking the game 60-47.
Jj Jaramillo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Tovar, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Hart beat the Kangaroos 51-41 two weeks ago.
Springlake-Earth pushed their record up to 12-8 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Hart, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Springlake-Earth strolled past the Longhorns in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 83-67. Will Springlake-Earth repeat their success, or do the Longhorns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
