Basketball Recap: Ellendale Takes a Loss

Ellendale was the 64-54 winner over Richland when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ellendale Cardinals received a blow on Thursday as they fell 48-34 to the Richland Colts.

Ellendale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Richland, they moved to 6-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Ellendale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
