Basketball Recap: Lake Washington Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lake Washington and Chiawana squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lake Washington had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Chiawana Riverhawks by a score of 45-42. The matchup marked the Kangaroos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lake Washington's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. As for Chiawana, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Lake Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chiawana, they and Auburn will face off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
