Basketball Recap: Downsville Takes a Loss

Downsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the LaSalle Tigers. The Demons were probably out for revenge after losing 44-35 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Downsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for LaSalle, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Downsville has already played their next matchup (against Calvin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. LaSalle has already played their next game, a 58-12 defeat against Northwood on the 17th.
