Softball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palmyra-Eagle can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Palmyra-Eagle has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season. As for Cambria-Friesland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5.

As of now, neither Palmyra-Eagle nor the Hilltoppers have any future games scheduled.
