Softball Recap: Kamiakin Comes Up Short

Kamiakin and Richland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Kamiakin had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 3-2. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Bombers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Kamiakin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordynn Marquez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Kamiakin's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Richland, they pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Kamiakin will venture away from home to take on Mead on Tuesday. As for Richland, they will host Chiawana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
