Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Freedom

It's playoff time, and Freedom had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Lake Nona Lions onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Lions are ranked eighth).

Freedom's one-goal win came courtesy of Marlon Escalona, who's now up to two this season.
