The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees will face off against the Calallen Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Tuloso-Midway beat Zapata 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors & Cherokees in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won nine in a row.
The final score came out to 25-11, 24-26, 25-21, 25-15.

Tuloso-Midway's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesslin Diaz, who had 20 assists and three digs. Those 20 assists gave Diaz a new career-high.
Calallen won the last time they faced Harmony School of Excellence and Amelia Hernandez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats blew past the Hawks 3-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Hernandez, who had 11 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Calallen was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-7, 25-6.
Tuloso-Midway's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Calallen, their win bumped their record up to 24-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Tuloso-Midway has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Calallen struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Tuloso-Midway might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Calallen in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
