Soccer Game Preview: Southmoore vs. Mustang

The Southmoore SaberCats will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Mustang Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Southmoore and Westmoore, and Westmoore kept the tradition alive. Southmoore fell 2-0 to Westmoore on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Mustang put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Stillwater get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Give the Broncos' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Olivia Fairchild, which was the first she's scored this season.
