Baseball Game Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Aldine Mustangs

For the second straight game, MacArthur will face off against Aldine. MacArthur will face off against Aldine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

MacArthur is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since April 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Aldine 4-3.

For Aldine's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jansyel Barbosa, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI. Alexander Martinez was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

MacArthur's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Aldine, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-4.
