Thunder Ridge is 9-1 against Highland since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Titans will face off against the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Thunder Ridge is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.
On Friday, Thunder Ridge made easy work of Rigby and carried off a 12-1 victory. Considering the Titans have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Thunder Ridge got a great performance from Carly Jones as she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Jones has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Giulia Johns was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Chelsea Adams, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Thunder Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rigby only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Highland's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 13-7 to Madison.
Janae Whitehead made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Reece Bybee was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Thunder Ridge's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Thunder Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like Highland struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Thunder Ridge took their win against Highland in their previous matchup last Friday by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
