Carol City is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Goleman is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Chiefs will welcome the Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Carol City nor Goleman posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Carol City is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering North Miami Beach just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Chargers were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 14-13 defeat.

Meanwhile, Goleman came up short against Western on Friday and fell 14-7. The Gators have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Goleman's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Carol City, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Carol City didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Goleman in their previous meeting back in August of 2021, but they still walked away with a 40-36 win.
