While Red Bank Catholic might've come up empty on Sunday, Lily Hagan wasn't going down without a fight. Hagan made a splash, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Immaculate Heart Academy back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Hagan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Coming up, Hagan and Red Bank Catholic will welcome Marlboro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coming in off a loss to Middletown North in their last outing, the Mustangs are looking for some redemption.
