Volleyball Recap: Rocklin Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Rocklin came into Saturday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Monterey Trail Mustangs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunder have posted since April 13, 2024.

Bryan Lie paced Rocklin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lie got some help from Eli Anderson and his 12 assists. Lie was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Rocklin's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Monterey Trail, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
