Volleyball Recap: Compass Charter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Compass Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Melba Mustangs, falling 3-0. The Aviators were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-17, 25-13.

Compass Charter's offense was headlined by Lillian Conn and Sandra Allen, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Arianna David and her 13 assists. Aidyn Kircher controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Compass Charter's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Melba, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Compass Charter will square off against rival The Ambrose School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Melba is set to face off against their familiar foe Parma at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
