Soccer Recap: Collins Hill Takes a Loss

Collins Hill managed to slip by Pope the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Collins Hill Eagles lost 3-0 to the Pope Greyhounds on Saturday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.

Collins Hill is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9. As for Pope, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Collins Hill duke it out with Dacula at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Collins Hill will be up against Dacula's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pope, they are taking a road trip to challenge Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
