It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Memorial ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. Everything went their way against the Shawnee Indians as they made off with a 15-6 win. The Roughriders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Shawnee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will face off against Coldwater at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Roughriders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shawnee, they will challenge Findlay at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
