Soccer Game Preview: Walkertown vs. Carver + Official Tickets

Walkertown is 1-6 against Carver since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Walkertown didn't have quite enough to beat Rockingham County and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Carver came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 9-0 shutout. Considering Carver have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Morehead from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Rafael Rocha led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Walkertown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Carver, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
