Montrose strolled into their game  on Tuesday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They blew past the Gunnison Cowboys 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Hawks also won the last time the pair played  back in September of 2024.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Montrose took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14,  25-14.
 Maggie Legg paced Montrose's offense, picking up 13 kills. Legg got some help from  Lilly Nelson and her 30 assists.  Marcella Mendoza controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
