Volleyball Recap: LBJ Austin Comes Up Short

LBJ Austin saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Vista Ridge Rangers. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vista Ridge can attribute much of their success to Lilly Gowan, who had 13 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Gowan has posted since back in September of 2024. Jennavee Jensen also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

LBJ Austin now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Vista Ridge, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

LBJ Austin has already played their next game (against Richards School for Young Women Leaders), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Vista Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pasadena on the 15th.
